Elliot Rouse calls this curve the "quasi-stiffness" and for 20%-70% of the gait cycle he found it to be (surprisingly) equivalent to his model stiffness term (equivalent to my "gain"). It would be interesting to see if that happens for my data too. I'm guess it wouldn't because my stiffness curve doesn't follow the same pattern as his.
