Goals:

1. Can you reproduce parts of the Sadler et al (2018) study?
2. Can you use containers and cloud resources to make it easier to reproduce the study?
3. How does this process of trying to reproduce another researcher’s work help to inform your own work?

For the report:

Part 1: repeatability

1. Report any challenges with replicating this work, as well as the findings, ease of replication, what needed to be changed and any other information that was missing to replicate this paper.

2. From your experience in replicating this paper, state the pros and cons from using HydroShare.

3. In your opinion, what additional functionality should HydroShare implement to support the use of HydroShare to make research more reproducible and transparent?

Part 2: make it more reproducible

1. create a workflow diagram of our new plan for making the paper more reproducible

Part 3: workshop outcomes

1. write a reproducibility plan <2pg describing our workflow
2. create a presentation summarizing the project
