Background and Overview

Backpackr is an app to help organize your post-pandemic vacations with your friends. Users can select from a list of top rated LGBTQ+ friendly destinations and add their friends to a private trip page to plan together.

The motive of Backpackr is to simplify trip planning with organized lists ranking preferences on itinerary items. For each aspect of a trip, authorized users will be able to create comments and vote on items they would like to add to their trip

When users have reached a decision on a suggestion, they can add it to their final itinerary page which will keep a running list of trip details from beginning to end, which can be exported, printed, and travel-ready.
