Is the droid dataset in RLDS format fully compatible with the Octo Dataloader and its OXE mixes? #44

Sorry for asking an easy-to-verify question. I am in a resource-constrained situation atm and want to get some clarity on this before downloading the entire dataset.

So, by looking at the data loader in the policy-learning repo, it seems like we can use Octo to load DROID as well (which is a godsend feature btw, thank you).

Does that mean if I download the entire DROID dataset and put it in the OXE folder like any other OXE dataset such as bridge, and change the mix configuration provided by Octo, I can smoothly train a new model with a combination of OXE magic soup mix + DROID?

Again, thank you for your contribution to the community.
