Decide what core "apps" we want to include with the project #11

We need to select some winners from our current HotApps inventory; seems like we have quite a few widget projects, anything that should be included in the core profile? Config

This project is also quite important, but a larger workflow discussion is needed, and some evolution: https://github.com/kalamuna/kala_admin We are definitely going to want to override in some way. Most typically this has been for wysiwyg. I'm going to re-examine the panopoly situation and see if that can't be driven forward a bit more in the contrib space. Might be worth improving the table widget in contrib space too. |
@reynoldsalec may be worth considering a hot_widgets module that, like a good rug, can tie the whole room together. @andrewmallis maybe kaladamin makes more sense for alpha2? we want to roll out an alpha1 fast so we can repair the damage of the fork and ensure not to many people or our clients are on a dead end path. |
@andrewmallis if so, post separate issue for kalaadmin for alpha2 milestone. |
I feel like we shouldn't include any of the hot widgets yet. They are too unstable and could be built much better. I think we should wait on those for now. They're always available to be added as an optional thing. |

Since we are temporarily(permanently?) abandoning the app server paradigm we are going to need to bundle in some of our most useful apps into the project. Let's decide what those are and then roll them in.
@bassettsj @andrewmallis @reynoldsalec can you help determine what these are?
