Release Candidate 1
Pre-release
Pre-release
After several months of testing, changes to the code structure and functionality have settled.
Notable changes from the last release:
- Compatibility for jQuery v2, v3
- Fixes to the responsive menu #42 #25
- Hiding of the global search on request, or local search detection d93eb06
- Lots of minor fixes and polishes
This is a final call for structural changes before we move into a bug fix and maintenance release cycle as we prepare for v1.2 this summer.
If you have concerns or ideas, be sure to post them to the issue queue or pass them along to Web Development.
Compliant sites are expected to migrate by February 2017.
What's next?
- Pattern library: Work continues on documentation and patterns, this will continue to be a major theme over the next several months.
- Lite version: There is active work for a possible v1.1-lite edition targeted at sites still using the old EBI Mitigation theme or with special needs. However note that this is currently planned as a short life project aiming to help along sites with special needs and their own active development teams.
