Background Scheduler Credentials
The HXTool scheduler requires a set of Endpoint Security (HX) API credentials for all tasks, whether scheduled or on-demand - this required for HXTool to be able to process tasks, such as Bulk Acquisition post-processing via Task Profiles. These credentials are stored securely using the Python keyring module. You can use the same credentials that you've logged in to the HXTool UI with, though it is recommended to create a separate set of credentials dedicated to the scheduler.
From the HXTool dashboard, select the Admin menu, then select the HXTool Settings sub-menu. You should then see a dialog where you can enter the credentials. Once you've entered the credentials, click Set.
