Description
-----------

Client utilities to connect to Axxess 8520 PBXs and retrieve SMDR data. The data can be gathered by serial port connection or TCP/IP connection. The data can be written to a file or to an SQLite database for use with django-pbx-smdr-accounting (http://github.com/fmahnke/django-pbx-smdr-accounting).

Configuration
-------------

config.py contains some configuration options that must be set. See the comments in that file for details.

Usage
-----

The tcp_ip directory contains axxess_8520_smdr_client.py, which simply connects to the PBX by TCP/IP and collects SMDR data until it is stopped. The data are written to the sqlite database as well as (optionally) to a text file for later processing.

import_axxess_smdr_log.py is available to import an existing text file containing SMDR records to the sqlite database.
