According to the official documentation, a best-practice for security hardening of GitHub Actions is to pin the version to a full length commit SHA. This helps mitigate the risk of a bad actor adding a backdoor to the action's repository, as they would need to generate a SHA-1 collision for a valid Git object payload.
Since we're now using a specific version of the actions, not benefiting from the rolling tag, I've also enabled @dependabot so we can keep the workflows up to date automatically.
