@jfschwarz type check fails because the TransactionResult from ser-kit uses just Hex as the type for data. Should this also be Lowercase<Hex> inside ser-kit?

yea we could do that. although in practice data is never checksummed and we'll probably also not do equality checks on it. still wouldn't harm
