Annotorious is an Open Source image annotation toolkit written in JavaScript. Online demos are available on our project Website.
Instructions on getting started using Annotorious on your own Web pages are on the project Website or on the Wiki. Instructions on using it as a plugin to the Annotator Web annotation system are here. If you require professional support, or have special integration or feature requirements, you are welcome to contact us directly.

Annotorious is licensed under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). In plain English, this means you can grab, use and re-distribute Annotorious for free, in commercial or non-commercial projects, with no restrictions whatsoever. However: should you modify the code of Annotorious itself, these modifications need to be under the same license. In short: feel free to use Annotorious wherever or however you want. But if you fix a bug, or add a cool feature, be sure to give back to the community.
