The Institute of Electrical Power Systems and High Voltage Engineering - TU Dresden
is one of the leading German higher education research institutes in the field of power systems.
Please find below an overview of (open source) software libraries with respect to power systems developed by researcher of the institute.
Power System Data Model is intended to describe electrical power systems. It provides a hierarchical structure/schema to describe unique entity relations as well as parameter sets. It is available at PyPI repository.
Please have a look at the example
sections in the repositories.
PowerFactory Tools is intended for an external usage ('engine mode') of the power flow calculation program DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Therefore, the Python-PowerFactory-API, provided by the company, is utilized. It is available at PyPI repository.
Please have a look at the example
sections in the repositories.
Pyramecium Technology Models are intended to create multi-energy power time series for different technologies in steady-state simulations of cellular energy systems. It is mainly driven and published under the namespace of Sasan Jacob Rasti. It is available at PyPI repository.
Each project/repository has its own license.
This project includes third-party libraries, which are licensed under their own respective Open-Source licenses. SPDX-License-Identifier headers are used to show which license is applicable. The concerning license files can be found in the LICENSES directory.
Please read CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, CONTRIBUTING.md and GOVERNANCE.md for details on the process for submitting pull requests to us.
If you are using libraries of our institute in your research work, please consider citing our library using the references in CITATION.md.
