Hi @bjodom, this PR is in Work In Progress state, because I am learning how to properly configure workflows for this project. I will add people for review once it is finished, ready to review and merge.

The CodeQL workflow will be removed, because configuring it through the Security tab (GitHub UI) should be sufficient. I was only testing its capabilities here.
