Descriptive Text

Descriptive text (also known as Alt text) describes images for blind and low-vision users, and helps give context around images to everyone. As such, we highly recommend adding it to your image uploads on your websites and social media posts.

Using Descriptive Text for your Top 8 graphic

TournamentStreamHelper v5.75 introduces a button in the "Player List" tab called "Generate Descriptive Text for Results". Once you've entered your results in the Player List, you can click this button in order to generate descriptive text. Said text can then be copied and inputted on most social networks (e.g. X, Bluesky, FGC Network) using the "ALT Text" option when uploading your results graphic. Here is an example of generated descriptive text below:
