Excited to announce LAPS for macOS 2.0. This is a simple release that will change the icon to conform to the new Big Sur style and support for Apple Silicon.
LAPS for macOS 1.2.0 Build 510
The new version of LAPS for macOS that upgrades the code to Swift 5. The following new features have also been added:
- Clipboard Button: When you have retrieved a password click the Copy to Clipboard button to copy the password the clipboard.
- Enter key to retrieve Password: You can now retrieve the password by hitting the enter key after typing in a valid computer name
- Monaco Font: I have changed the Font to Monaco to hopefully differentiate between l L 1 and I.
LAPS for macOS 1.1.0 Build 483
This is a maintenance release of LAPS for macOS that resolves issue #2 which would cause the application to crash if the machine was not bound to Active Directory. The warning message will now display indicating that it is unable to connect and to check that the machine is bound to Active Directory.
LAPS for macOS 1.0 Build 465
Version 1.0 Release of LAPS for macOS. This application will let you read passwords from your directory bound mac without having to RDP into a Windows client/server with LAPS UI installed.

Save your privileged credentials
- On the Credentials tab, you can enter your credentials that are privileged to retrieve LAPS passwords and save them to your keychain. That way everytime you open the app your credentials are ready to go as the application checks for a keychain item on launch.

Set Expiration Date
- After reading a password you can click the Expiration Date text field to set a custom expiration date

Expire the Password
- If you want to expire the password immediately, just click the Expire Password button after reading the computer.

Easily readable Password Field
- Using the Menlo font, we can easily decipher what is an i, a | or a 1 and so on.

LAPS for macOS - 0.75(450)
With this release, users can now set a custom expiration date by clicking in the expiration date field, entering a custom date and finally clicking Set. If the user does not do this before clicking "Expire Password" then the default expiration of Jan 1, 2001 12:00 AM will be used.
This release is also now notarized by Apple.
