Local Chat

Chat with gemini locally without needing an internet connection using window.ai.

Instructions

1. Install Chrome Canary version >= 127
2. Set your browser language to English US
3. Enable Prompt API: In chrome://flags, find prompt api for gemini nano and set it to enabled. Do not restart the browser
4. Enable Optimization Guide: Once again in chrome flags find optimization guide on device model and set it to Enabled BypassPerfRequirement. Restart the browser
5. Download the model: Go to chrome://components and find optimization guide on device model. Press on check for update and wait till its installed.
