iproute2 uses the NetLink interface, which entails a bunch of structs being written to and read from an AF_NETLINK socket. While not strictly a kernel call, I'm adding it to this package because (a) it's Linux-specific, (b) it has functions in this package as prerequisites, and (c) it involves packing and unpacking structs in a very similar manner to kernel calls, so it shares a lot of underlying logic.
