Todo:

• is there a better way to get a good env on the cluster? Spack for emacs, tmux, htop, fzf, ccls, bat, imagemagick, git, texlive
• python setup is all messed up. totally lost on the best way to do this. State of thinking:
  1. install pyenv
  2. use pyenv to get a recent python build (not trivial on a cluster, need some modules loaded and that changes from cluster to cluster)
  3. create a dotfiles venv with the new python from pyenv
  4. install poetry with the python? or the system python?
• remove omz lib: not going to do this. omz has some nice defaults that carry through to other stuff. Startup time is negligible now that I removed plugins from omz.
