React deprecated a few lifecycles, including
componentWillUpdateandcomponentWillMount, which were both used in the library. This PR substitutes those lifecycles for "safer" implementations.The new implementation for
componentWillUpdatemight seem counterintuitive at first sight, but I believe it is safer than using any other available lifecycle.
