# Background.

In increasing the use of the CFD platform, SimVascular, workshops that culminated
in presentations by members of UWO+Lawson were led by SRK. The background is that
the students were working on individual projects for image processing, model devel and use,
and scientific dessimination.

I found it essential to undertake such workshops periodically to train larger numbers
of persons,rather than just work with two junior developers (Tim and Jeri).
