Rebased version of #561 on top of master. I'll be honest, I'm not all that familiar with how YAML parsers work, so I can't be confident this is perfect, but it seems to fix my issue in #697 where I'm hitting an issue due to lack of support for implicit block mappings.
If I deserialize the results after parsing, the YAML is still valid, and semantically equivalent so it seems to be correct based on my tests.
