Installation

Installing the mod can be done in a few steps, this page will guide you through the process.

Requirements

• Grand Theft Auto V
• .NET Framework 4.8
• ScriptHookV
• ScriptHookVDotNet

Finding your game folder

To start with the installation you must find your game folder, this is where you will be installing the files.

Rockstar Games Launcher

• Open the Rockstar Games Launcher and go to the settings tab.
• Find 'Grand Theft Auto V' in the sidebar.
• Click on 'Open' under 'View installation folder'.

Steam

• Open Steam and go to your library.
• Right-click on 'Grand Theft Auto V' and under 'Manage' select 'Browse local files'.

Installing

• Make sure you downloaded and installed ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet from the requirements (extract dinput8.dll, ScriptHookV.dll and all ScriptHookVDotNet files to the game folder).
• Download the latest version of the mod.
• Create a folder scripts in the game folder.
• Extract all the files to the scripts folder.

Usage

If you are new to GTA Coop this should give you some information on getting started.

Menu

The menu is the main interface for the GTA Coop mod, here you can connect to servers or change your settings. To open the menu press F9 in game, this will open the menu in the upper left corner.

Server browser

The server browser is a list of servers on your LAN and public servers on the master server. You can open the server browser by selecting it in the menu.

Connect

To connect to a server manually you can enter the IP address, port and password in the menu, then you can click Connect to connect to the server.

• F9 - Menu
• T - Chat
• Z - Players list
• G - Enter vehicle as passenger
• N - PushToTalk

Troubleshooting

There are two error logs you can referrer to for troubleshooting errors. The ScriptHookVDotNet.log located in the game folder will contain errors related to loading or crashing of the mod. For other errors you can use the mod error.log located in %localappdata%\cgmp\gtacoop.

FAQ

Nothing happens when I press F9 in game

Make sure you followed the installation instructions carefully and you did not forgot to install any requirement.

I receive "Error: Menu not opened yet" when I press F9

This is a message from the Menyoo mod, it conflicts with the F9 key bind. Either change the Menyoo key bind or the GTA Coop key bind in clientSettings.xml.

Can I use LSPDFR with GTA Coop?

The two mods can be installed and used simultaneously, however GTA Coop does not sync callouts or similar. You will be able to see your friend and NPCs they interact with, but you will not be able to interact with their NPCs.
