  • JSON schema progress:

  • responses to TC Vote - all addressed, to be closed
  • left over Issues from CovJSON repo - all closed or assigned to future development
  • temporal terminology
• Outstanding Pull Requests:
  • remove section on Differences from CIS
  • tighten schema definitions
  • tighten domain definitions
• Compliance Test Suite: *JSON schema tool implementation

Plans for next month:

• Outreach:

Progress in the last month:

• CoverageJSON Specification:
  • JSON schema progress: finished, all Domain types have schemas.
• Outstanding Issues:
  • responses to TC Vote - all closed
  • left over Issues from CovJSON repo - most closed, others postponed to later versions
  • temporal terminology - Mark Hedley will propose some compromise text
• Outstanding Pull Requests:
• Compliance Test Suite:
  • JSON schema tool implementation: completed schema built into Playground/Sandbox
  • work on more comprehensive Python library, to give tighter validation and manipulation will not be ready for a few months
• CoverageSWG coordination:
  • Steve Olson raised the issue of discussing possible use by the GeoVolumes SWG
• Update other Documentation on GitHub:

Risks:

• alienating existing communities of users by changing spec in incompatible ways. Mitigate by postponing such proposed change to next versions.
