The workshop will provide an overview of resources for developers interested in OGC standards and candidate standards. The resources include dedicated websites, e-learning modules and compliance tests.
This presentation will provide an overview of the new developer resouces at OS, which cover the recently launched National Geographic Database and the various APIs (including an implementation of OGC API Features).
This presentation will show how-to setup pipelines, in order to test and publish schemas and semantic annotations for OGC standards.
The Test, Evaluation, And Measurement (TEAM) Engine is a testing facility that executes test suites developed using the TestNG framework or the OGC Compliance Test Language (CTL). It is typically used to verify specification compliance and is the official test harness of the OGC Compliance Testing Program (CITE) (https://cite.ogc.org/teamengine). The presentation will demonstrate how to build the TEAM Engine. The presentation will also demonstrate how to build Executable Test Suites for deployment into TEAM Engine. The presentation will be of interest to anyone involved in compliance testing of products that implement OGC Standards, particularly anyone that is tasked with installing local instances of TEAM Engine for on-premise compliance testing.
This presentation will provide information on where to find and how-to use some OGC developer resources. These include developer focused websites (e.g.: OGC API Features, Location Building blocks), as well as the OGC Events discord channel where the code sprints are run.
We welcome contributions from in-person participants, who developed their own resources for OGC standards and would like to share them with the OGC community. These could include: documentation, Swagger pages, CI integration pipelines for tests, tutorials or anything else you find useful for other developers who want to learn about OGC standards.
If you would like to present a 20-40 mins slot about your resources, please get in touch by ✉️, or via discord: @doublebyte#8420
