Fix build and codacy issues, and update tasking integration to Reveal

• Codacy issues need to be fixed to maintain code quality
• Fix build issues so as to correct any broken functionality during the modularisation. This also includes fixing the tests so that they work according to any changed functionality.
• Move commented out code back to Reveal. This might need refactors to provided dependencies for commented out functionality to work.
• The tasking integration PR here is behind master and needs to be updated. This includes updates for code that we refactored back to the tasking library. This means this code will have to be made configurable or completely moved to the tasking library
