If you have a VI like the new Reference VI that connects to CAN2-1 and you need CAN2-2 (i.e. the "info" bus for Ford vehicles), you have 2 options:
The destructive option is to modify the solder jumpers on the PCB to switch buses - see the schematic docs for more info.
The non-destructive option is to build a "crossover" cable that connects the CAN2-2 pins on the vehicle side to the CAN2-1 pins on the VI side. You can hard-wire it, or make it switched like in this example cable. The example cable was built with:
