Migration Milestones June 2017

Milestone 1: Migration Prep.
Goal: prepare SA@OSU to accept all content from DSpace
Description: by the end of this milestone, we will be prepared to move all content from DSpace to Hyrax.
Needed Steps:

• Implement the metadata application profile in it's entirety including getting metadata fields set, indexing/search/discovery/visibility set, and getting all admin sets and work types loaded
• Identify any further major issues with content that has been test migrated to the staging server
• Set up the production server space(s) for the repository

Milestone 2: Allow deposits and discovery
Goal: prepare SA@OSU to accept all content from DSpace
Description: by the end of this milestone, the repository will be ready to take new deposits of data of any kind
Needed Steps:

• Test all workflows
• Modify forms and showpages for proper ordering of fields
• Hook up analytics

Milestone 3: Enhancements
Goal: add user experience focused improvements to SA@OSU
Description: by the end of this milestone, a define set of enhancements to the repository will have been completed. the list of enhancements will be meant to improve user experience and to implement any new features made available in Hyrax.
