🚧 Work in progress..

Semantic indexer using Exiftool / RDFLib / Python3 / BerkeleyDB from an hotfolder

Install

  • Install dependancies :
    • sudo apt-get update
    • sudo apt-get install python3, npm, nodejs, pip3, libdb-dev
    • python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip
    • pip3 install rdflib watchdog flask flask-cors berkeleydb
  • Set your hotfolder path in hotfolderWatcher.py or mkdir /tmp/hotfolder (default hotfolder)
  • Create static directory, mkdir API/static
  • Start it python3 API/hotfolderWatcher.py
  • Start API, type python3 API/api.py
  • Insert new medias in your hotfolder
  • Go to 127.0.0.1:5000 for checking API
  • Install MVC client in APP, type cd APP && npm install
  • Run web app, node domain.js
  • Go to 127.0.0.1:8001 for viewing web app

Semantic Indexer use ExifTool, in particular exiftool -X <filename> for getting RDF resources

ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command-line application for reading, writing and editing meta information in a wide variety of files. ExifTool supports many different metadata formats including EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, FlashPix, AFCP and ID3, Lyrics3, as well as the maker notes of many digital cameras by Canon, Casio, DJI, FLIR, FujiFilm, GE, GoPro, HP, JVC/Victor, Kodak, Leaf, Minolta/Konica-Minolta, Motorola, Nikon, Nintendo, Olympus/Epson, Panasonic/Leica, Pentax/Asahi, Phase One, Reconyx, Ricoh, Samsung, Sanyo, Sigma/Foveon and Sony. - https://exiftool.org
