Clicking on a section highlights incorrect section after scroll from right side toc #2053

It seems that when using screen in portrait mode, upon clicking a section, some other section that is later that clicked section is getting highlighted in right navbar though the section it scrolls to in main area is correct.

pydata-sphinx-theme==0.16.0
Observed on both Chrome (130.0.6723.117 64-bit) and Firefox (132.0.2 64-bit)
