Updates the overlay_volumes patch to contain a driver only patch

This changes the overlay_volumes patch to patch only the driver file
itself in e.g. packaged installations that do not provide the full
source tree.
This also adds a full_source patch that patches the full source tree as
the previous version of this patch.
