VIT Proxy Chrome Extension 📡

Unable to use the intrnet after 12:30 in hostels at VIT?

Dont know any proxy or VPN servers?

Fear not coz VIT Proxy Chrome Extension lets you do access the internet even after its time.

Steps

1. Build and install the extension
2. Click on the installed extension
3. Hit the slider to turn on Proxy for chrome
4. Enjoy 💪

How to build?

1. Rename the .env.example to .env after setting up the variables correctly
2. Run yarn build
3. Create a folder called build in root directory and run yarn compile
4. Use the unpacked extension OR Drag and drop the built extension into chrome://extension after turning Developer mode ON.

Suggestions

• You must have been already connected to a VIT Wifi before 12:25 AM.
• You may also connect later if you have a static IP address

• Proxy may or may not work during the day time. No guarantees.
