mando 0.8.2 has been released on 2024-10-20. Could you please add support for the new version?

@mgorny, I have opened a pull request matching mando 0.8* releases in dropping Python 2 support; and updating the dependency to allow installing the latest versions accordingly. Interested in any feedback.

To be honest, I'm only a packager for Gentoo, and I know nothing of these packages — just that our users can't upgrade right now.

I'm a bit surprised you want to support 3.3 — nowadays only Python 3.9+ isn't EOL, and last I've tried, it's near impossible to even build 3.7 on a modern system. Not complaining, of course.

@mgorny, nice - can see Gentoo reference.

Yeah I've scope to what I considered may be a pragmatic middleground (first dropping Python 2 support), as I assume the package remains important for analysing legacy Python codebases - though can be run against legacy code through newer Python releases; may offer a release for any such users to remove package dependencies for Python 2 compatibility, and being unfamiliar with the permutations of dropping those versions for this package. Will add as a feedback suggestion on the pull request and we can see recommendation pending review feedback. Cheers for suggestion!
