Release version 2.6: More reasonable behaviors and enhanced IME collaboration
This release features more reasonable behaviors and enhanced IME collaboration.
- The gesture of "View the state of BrlIMEHelper" becomes
NVDA+windows+a
. - Interrupt braille composition at the correct chance.
- Get back to NVDA braille input during IME candidate selection.
- Better IME collaboration:
- Type full-shape characters from NVDA braille input.
- Manipulate the other east Asian IME through NVDA braille input.
- Improve the numpad dot-by-dot braille input.
- The internal code braille representation.
- Several new options to control the add-on behavior in detail.
A new bug is found. The general input mode does not work in Chrome LINE. We will solve the problem ASAP.

Release version 2.5: Upgraded the rule of IME state inference
Highlights:
- Support NVDA version 2023.3.
- Replace "The format to copy the braille display content" option with 3 individual scripts.
- Add scripts to translate the clipboard content into braille patterns.
- Improve the input mode inference rules.
The upgrade of the inference rules makes the following objects possible:
- Automatic switch of the braille keyboard emulation according to the current input method.
- Support of the other input methods, regardless of the language.
Release version 2.4 with support of NVDA 2023.1
The version provides NVDA 2023.1 support, and multiple formats to encode the braille pattern copied from the braille display.
Release version 2.3 with the first design of braille keyboard emulation modes
Changes closely related to users:
- Assign different key shortcuts to two modes of the "copy braille display content" feature.
- Add the feature to force NVDA to show the current message indefinitely without the default gesture.
- On installation, ask the user whether to automatically change the input translation table to "English (U.S.) 8 dot computer braille".
- The design of the braille and the general braille-keyboard emulation modes, and implementation in IME alphanumeric input.
The last one is the most significant change of the version. Please see the documentation for details of the two modes.
