Current Behavior

Crashes when I try to share pics or add a profile image.

Expected Behavior

Be able to share media without it crashing.

Steps To Reproduce

Try to add a profile image or share media in a chat window.

Android Version

Android 12

Session Version

1.20.0

We can't seem to be able to reproduce this crash. Could you give us more details please?
Where did you install the app from?
Did you give permissions to access the files when you were first prompted?

Google Play. I went into app info and manually made sure. Knowing my luck, it's just my bad luck.

Hi Thomas,

now I have the same issue.
But with Pixel 7 Pro and 8 Pro using GrapheneOS, happens with releases 2024103100 and the newest release 2024110400.
Session for Android versions 1.20.1 and 1.20.2, same issue with versions from Google and from GitHub.

Maybe the error is here:
