Key | Type | Description | Default |
---|---|---|---|
['emacs24']['build_dir'] | String | Where emacs archive will be extracted and builded | /opt/emacs24 |
['emacs24']['flags'] | Array | List of flags passed to configure script | [] |
['emacs24']['version'] | String | Emacs version to install | 24.4 |
['emacs24']['packages'] | Array | Packages to install | Platform-dependent |
['emacs24']['force'] | Boolean | Force reinstall if build directory exists | false |
Just include emacs24
in your node's run_list
:
{
"name":"my_node",
"run_list": [
"recipe[emacs24]"
]
}
You can also use the emacs24::compile
recipe instead the default.
{
"name":"my_node",
"run_list": [
"recipe[emacs24::compile]"
]
}
This is equivalent to use emacs24::default
with force
attribute.
