I am a C developer with a particular focus on telephony. In recent years (2021 and 2022), I have been one of the most active contributors to the open source Asterisk project, which powers millions of VoIP telephone systems around the globe. Additionally, I am the curator of PhreakScript, which installs an enhanced version of Asterisk with additional functionality for phreaks and power users.
Outside of telephony, I'm the creator of the LBBS bulletin board system package, which also doubles as personal server software that democratizes foundational Internet technologies for individuals (for example, anyone can use it to run their own email server). I also like taking on projects that provide or enhance the accessibility of telecommunications, computer, or web technologies, particularly to non-profits, disabled, and low-income individuals.
I enjoy contributing to quality software and continually making things a little bit better, whether through my own projects or by contributing to others. Most of my work contributing to these FOSS projects is unfunded and done on my own time, and I would love to do even more of it. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help fund further development on these projects to continue delivering more innovative and impactful work.
