#6137 should replace it, and in a more general way in case it happens elsewhere in
nimbus-eth2. Even this is something of a workaround, but it's less arbitrary and more robust.I'm not sure if it's worth preserving comments about WASM/ORC, etc, but without the framing device of the
proposeBlockAux/refcbug, I'm not sure how they fit here.
