    • Ferry ( only for Mr. X ) ⛴️
  • A label sheet ( for Mr. X logs )

Game Play

All players starts with a number of tickets for all transports.

  • Detectives with 10 taxi, 8 bus and 4 subway tickets.

  • Mr. X with 5 black tickets and unlimited tickets for other transports.

Black tickets can be used in place of any other kind of transport ticket to prevent the type of transport from being visible.

The Ferries require a black ticket to use and so when one of these is played the detectives must consider whether or not it is being used to hide a river trip.

In every round Mr. X makes the first move. For each move that Mr. X makes, the label sheet will be updated with the transport that Mr. X choose, giving the detectives a clue as to his whereabouts.

At five specific times during the game, Mr. X has to reveal his current position.

NOTE: Mr. X have two '2X CARDS' which allow Mr. X to move 2 moves in one round. Mr. X cannot use 2x cards in consecutive rounds.

Detectives win if any one of the detective and Mr. X are in same stop (or) detectives block all possible moves of Mr. X.

Mr. X wins by avoiding capture until all detectives can no longer move, due to them either exhausting their tickets or finding themselves at a station which they can't move from as they have no more usable tickets of available transport.
