If you are sure, I will consider to close this with "Won't fix". Checking on SFOS 3.40 may make sense, because Jolla 1 users are stuck on this release. But OTOH, there are very few users actively using a Jolla 1.
As stated in the bug-report above, it does do no harm besides looking ugly (see screenshot): Even the info is properly displayed at the eventsview page (just not in the notification bubble).

BUG DESCRIPTION
The notification which indicates a failed installation is visually corrupted.
The notification content is correctly displayed at the SailfishOS' eventsview page.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Try to install an app, which is known to fail installing, because some dependency is not met.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Needs to be retested / confirmed on SailfishOS 4.x.y.
