- Chronologue is a time-traveling telescope that can record past and future events. The focus is astronomy, since this is based on science and will not attract too many conspiracy theorists (maybe except for flat-earthers).
- It's fictional - the actual "time-traveling telescope" will never exist.
- Users can look at the recordings on the Chronologue website.
- It's simple enough that people don't need to be familiar with any existing time travel lore. To an outsider who has no idea about all this, the website looks like a digital museum.
- It's complex enough (has the breadth to scale) that we can demonstrate several document types and templates.
Chronologue consists of three parts:
- The time-travel telescope
- An API
- A website
No one can own the time-travel telescope for themselves, because of the complex and energy-consuming technology (see more about technology of Chronologue). Therefore, if you want to record an event that isn't on the website yet, you must submit a request for time-travel (RTT).
WIP -- @finneon The Chronologue API is a simple database that includes events of astronomical events around the world, ranging from the past to distant future.
The website is the place where you can retrieve events. If the Chronologue has recorded footage of the event, you will be able to view it. Otherwise, you can submit a request for time-travel (RTT).
