Releases: thenesis-org/lp-public
Thenesis Quake v1.0 and Quake 2 v1.1
To run Quake or Quake 2 and any of their mission packs, you must either have the .pak files from the commercial versions (which can be purchased from Steam), or you can use the .pak files from the demo versions (which can be legally downloaded somewhere).
Do not copy any .cfg file ! It may cause trouble. Only the .pak files !
And ensure that all .pak file names are lower case, otherwise it won't run on non-Windows platforms !
Quake v1.0
Copy only the .pak files in their associated directory:
- For original game, copy files in "id1" subdirectory.
- For "Dissolution of Eternity mission pack", copy files in "rogue" subdirectory.
- For "Scourge of Armagon mission pack", copy files in "hipnotic" subdirectory.
With all mission packs you should have the following files:
- Quake/id1/pak0.pak
- Quake/id1/pak1.pak
- Quake/hipnotic/pak0.pak
- Quake/rogue/pak0.pak
You can also use the demo version. In this case you have only one pak file:
- Quake/id1/pak0.pak
For GCW Zero
- To install Quake on the external SD card, unpack Quake-1.0-GCWZero.7z at the root and put .pak files in the subdirectories of Quake. To launch the game, use the file explorer and select "Quake.sh", "Dissolution of Eternity.sh" or "Scourge of Armagon.sh".

There is some hardwired cheat keys which can be used when the power switch is on the lock position:
- START: Enable cheats when creating a server.
- LEFT: No target.
- RIGHT: Give all weapons, ammos and items.
- DOWN: Enable / disable no clipping mode.
- UP: Enable / disable god mode.
