  • some tidy ups (.gitgnore, unused manifest file, test app settings)
  • adds interactive tox env (tox -e interactive) for easier local manual testing
  • switch to Ruff for formatting
  • upgrade linting deps
  • move ruff/coverage config out of pyproject.toml (shaving a few bytes from the end package size)
