Purpose

We’re seeiking to make it as fast and easy as possible to create robust browser/Internet CRUD (Create Read Update Delete) transactions, at least as a starting point. We want these transactions to run on all types of devices, including SmartPhones, iPads, and future such devices, as well as standard PCs and Macs.

Licensing

Tantalum, when released, will come with two licences: one for educational and demo purposes and another for enterprise web and mobile applications.

Origin and Meaning of Tantalum

Tantalum is a chemical element with the symbol Ta and atomic number 73. A rare, hard, blue-gray, lustrous transition metal, tantalum is highly corrosion resistant. The chemical inertness of tantalum makes it a valuable substance for laboratory equipment and a substitute for platinum, but its main use today is in tantalum capacitors in electronic equipment.
