Key names for Amazon S3 object uploading

• The files for uploading can be accessible at https://img.cloud.lib.vt.edu/[repo_name]/[collection_identifier]/.
• Only the following 3 key names (CSV file names) are acceptable objects to be uploaded to the S3 bucket

Collection Level Metadata ingestion

collection_metadata.csv

• The collection_metadata.csv file is provides by each of stakeholders of the corresponding repositories. It contains metadata for all the collections in the repository.

Item Level Metadata ingestion

index.csv

• This uploading situation applied to the repositories (i.g., IAWA, SWVA respositories) that require generate IIIF conformed image manifest files. The index.csv files are generated using https://github.com/VTUL/iiif_s3_tools. It provides parent-child relationships among collections and items. It also provides paths to individual metadata CSV files for items in sub-collections.

archive_metadata.csv

• This uploading situation applied to the repositories (i.g., hokies@home respository) that do not require generate IIIF conformed image manifest files. The archive_metadata.csv file is provides by each of stakeholders of the corresponding repositories. It contains metadata for all the items in the repository.
