📦 Things You Need to Know Before Using WeakAurasPatched

1. WeakAurasPatched is an UNOFFICIAL version of WeakAuras; use it at your own risk.
2. WeakAurasPatched allows for the loading of external code changes, which are blocked in the official WeakAuras.
   • The ElvUI_WindTools WeakAuras skin will only support WeakAurasPatched (as of version 3.42).
3. There should be no difference in functionality between the two versions.
4. The configuration from WeakAuras can be used in WeakAurasPatched, and vice versa, with no cost to switch.
5. You can always find help in Discord Server!

🔄 Will This Project Continue to Update?

Yes, I have created a bot to automatically update the WeakAurasPatched version.
Typically, the new version will be packaged within 20 minutes of the official version's release.

📝 Preparation

1. Back up your WeakAuras configuration in the WTF folder. (Recommended)

2. Delete WeakAuras from your AddOns folder, but DO NOT DELETE YOUR WEAKAURAS DATA WITHIN THE WTF FOLDER.

😍 Install & Auto-update via WowUp

1. Downlaod and install WowUp with Wago or WowUP with Curseforge from wowup.io.

2. Click 'Get Addons' -> 'Install from URL'.

   

3. Input https://github.com/wind-addons/WeakAurasPatched and click 'Import' Button.

   The URL in the image is an old one, latest URL is https://github.com/wind-addons/WeakAurasPatched

   

4. Click 'Install' button to install.

   

📥 Manually Install

1. Visit the releases page and download the latest version to your computer.

   

2. Unzip the file and move the five folders from within the zip file to your AddOns folder.

   

3. Restart or reload WoW. You should see Patched WeakAuras in your AddOn list.
