The things you need to know before you using WeakAurasPatched

  1. WeakAurasPatched is an UNOFFICIAL WeakAuras version, you have to use it at your own risk.
  2. WeakAurasPatched allows external code changes to be loaded, which is blocked in WeakAuras.
    • ElvUI_WindTools WeakAuras skin will only supports WeakAurasPatched. (since 3.42)
  3. There should be no difference in functionality between the two versions.
  4. The config of WeakAuras can be used in WeakAurasPatched, verse visa. There is no switching cost.

Is this project will continue to update?

Yes, I have created a bot to automatically update the WeakAurasPatched version.
Generally, the new version will be packed within 10 minutes after the official version is released.

Preparation

  1. Backup your WeakAuras config in WTF folder. (Recommended)
  2. Delete WeakAuras in your AddOns folder, but DO NOT DELETE YOUR WEAKAURAS DATA INSIDE WTF FOLDER.

Download

  1. Go to the release page, and then download the latest version to your computer. Snipaste_2023-11-08_20-23-24

  2. Unzip the file, and move five folders inside the zip file to your AddOns folder.

  3. Restart or reload WoW, you can see the Patched WeakAuras in your addon list.
