6. Static Alpha Scan Bot

To perform StaticAlphaScan:

Bot Setup:

• Set Scan Location to the appropriate map
• Stand in the map you wish to hunt in.
• When DUP menu is open it should be on the Save Game tab.
• When map is open with the Minus (-) button the cursor should be hovered over this map.

Under StaticAlphaScanConditions

• Set MaxAdvancesToSearch (ex: If set to 50, will search for a shiny within 50 advances).
• If you have a specific IV spread in mind, fill it out under SearchForIVs. Otherwise leave this empty.
• Set InItSpawn to true if you just entered the map and did not physically spawn any Pokémon.
• Toggle SpawnIsStaticAlpha to True if searching with StaticAlphaScan, otherwise leave false.
• Start the bot in the overworld of the map you are on.
• The bot will automate entering and leaving the area until a match is found. Then you may proceed below.
• If you have a match that fits your parameters, you will see results like below:

When you are done with both tasks above:

• Set BotType to SeedAdvancer.
• Set Advances to the amount given. The bot will stop if it enters battle with a shiny, so you do not need to worry about overshooting.
• You can then use LiveMap to teleport to that specific SpawnerID.
• Once again set BotType to PlayerCoordScan and AutoFillCoords to SpawnZone to grab your coordinates for the Spawn.
• Knockout the present encounter, head back to camp, rest until nightfall.
• Start the bot.
