Timetable good to know info
To log in to the global administration interface you can use the default account with username administrator
and password administrator
. This should be changed before going into production.
The Timetable UI will always show times in the Europe/London
timezone to avoid confusion with timezone settings on a user's computer. This includes the calendar and events but also batch edit for administrators.
Exported calendar feeds in other applications may be shown in a different timezone, depending on the user's settings, as this is out of Timetable's control. The Timetable UI automatically calculates GMT/BST times so no extra effort is required for this either.
Timetable features a complete set of functionality for end users. Only a few edge case administration tasks are not implemented in the UI but can be accessed through the Swagger UI.
The creation and deletion of a tripos, course or part has not been exposed through the UI but is available through the Swagger UI. Creating modules and parts has been implemented in the UI.
Linking to an external Timetable from a part has not been exposed through the UI but is available through the Swagger UI.
