Always update to the latest build and check if the problem really still exists before reporting issues.
-
Check if your problem has already been reported by someone else. If so, contribute to that issue instead of creating a new one.
-
Write in English. We have users (and developers) from all over the world. And by writing in English, you help them (and us) understand and maybe even contributing to the solution.
-
Use our Templates! Be descriptive and clear: use a clear title without writing a whole novel. In the text area, describe the situation as precise as possible.
-
If you want to be nice, you can activate some Debug-Channels so we have more information in the log to work with.
-

Tell us the Courseplay version you're using. You can find it in the game's log.
-
Tell us which map and which Vehicle (mods) you are using.
Sometimes the devs won't be able to reproduce the problem or it would take too much time to set up the problem scenario. In this case we'll ask you to post more information:
- Try reproducing your problem with the stock vehicles and equipment, no mods.
- Make sure you save all courses used by your vehicles involved in the problem.
- Save your game before the problem occurs then exit the game.
- From your game folder (see above) zip (compress) the appropriate
savegame
folder (if you saved your game in Savegame 8 the folder will besavegame8
) and upload it to Gist.
- Post a link to the uploaded file in the issue
- If you are running a course, find it under
My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\modSettings\Courseplay_FS22\Courses\<map name>\Singleplayer
and add it to the issue. - Tell us which saved course to load for which vehicle and how to reproduce the problem from the saved game.
- If you are not using the stock maps, post a link to the map you are using.
- If you absolutely could not reproduce it with the stock vehicles, post a link to the mods.
To troubleshoot fieldwork course generator issues the devs may need your field definitions.
- Make sure you have the developer console enabled (google it, or see this video)
- Activate the console (tilde/backtick key twice above the TAB) and type in cpSaveAllFields
- Courseplay writes a file named cpFields.xml to the
My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\modSettings\Courseplay_FS22\Debug\DebugPrints\
folder. Post this file in the issue and tell us your course generator settings including work width and the number of the field you are having problems with.
