I get the checklist, but does it reflect the currently accpted scheme?

Checklist for submitters of positions drafts

  • This pull request is called Accept "{NAME OF YOUR DRAFT}" as an official position of de-RSE e.V..
  • All files required for the position document are located in a newly created dedicated subfolder named {4-digit year}-{small-title-of-position-separated-by-hyphens}.
  • All text files of the position document are in Markdown.

I don't think this is a hard requirement. E.g., 001 also uses tex. It shouldn't be a Word file ...

This should be a free-standing version of our repo over here: https://github.com/the-teachingRSE-project/competencies
I added some notes on how to build the paper.
The bibliography is inline here, in order to keep everything static.

The association meeting on 2024-08-15 could not officially ratify this as position paper (not enough members present for the necessary quorum). Having said that, I think this is only a matter of time.
